General Information

This distinctly rosy or purplish ground colour of this species cam fade quite quickly to a dull buff colour.


Wingspan: 15-19 mm.
Foodplant(s): Perennial Sow-thistle (Sonchus arvensis), Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale)
Flying: One generation, June-August

Habitat

Coastal areas, vegetated shingle, rough pasture.
