General Information

This species is difficult to distinguish from A.comariana without genital dissection.


Wingspan: 15-20 mm.
Foodplant(s): Rosaceae (Rosaceae spp.), hawthorns (Crataegus spp.), Apple (Malus domestica)
Flying: One generation, July-September
National status: Common

Recorded in 47 (17.4%) of the 270 2km squares of Huntingdonshire.
